OptionBlock is a decentralized stock option clearing house.

It frees people from the centralized stranglehold of big clearinghouses and gives freedom to write uncovered calls and puts against U.S. stocks.

Currently, OptionBlock is a demo. All options contracts are trading in rETH (Ropsten Test ETH) on the Ropsten testnet. rETH has no value.

In this demo only a few stocks are optionable: AAPL, GOOGL, FB, NFXL, AMZN, NVDA, and TSLA.

All options are American style synthetic-vertical, which means that on the long side of calls, the buyer's profit is limited to +100% of underlying upward price movement.

OptionBlock is enabled by the DeFi technology, powered by Ethereum Smart Contracts and in-house Data Oracles. The source code for this project is available on Github.

The application only works on the Ropsten Test Network, please make sure that your MetaMask is connected to the right network before using the service.
